Negative self talk can put you at higher risk for depression, anxiety, feelings of low self worth among others. Start this work by asking yourself: What are my best qualities. But when things don’t go to plan, how do you respond. Self esteem impacts how you take care of yourself, emotionally, physically and spiritually. It is a generous and a compassionate one. It can also give you the motivation and confidence to take action, overcome challenges, maintain healthy relationships, and so much more. This leads to disappointing outcomes. There are many people who have great ideas for a service or product, but their lack of self confidence stops them from actually trying it. We hold them lightly. Stick it on the mirror in your bedroom, or scatter multiple post it’s throughout your home. But showing ourselves kindness can help us show up better for our families. Mindfulness allows you to observe your inner critic without attaching to its judgments. Even today, when someone judges me as having failed, I feel it for far too long, far too deeply.
